JAMIE ROGERS

Jamie Rogers is a native of New York state with experience in small business development, community organizing and transactional and regulatory legal work. An alumnus of Americorps National Civilian Community Corp, Jamie has organized and led service work throughout the country, focusing on Gulf-Coast rebuilding after Hurricanes Katrina and Rita. Since moving back to New York in 2011, Jamie served on Community Board 3 during Hurricane Sandy and led the Board during the planning and community engagement for development of the East Side Coastal Resiliency project designed to protect the community from storm surge and rising sea levels. Jamie holds a B.A. in History from Connecticut College and J.D. from Cornell University.
