Urban and Landscape Design | Urban Planning and Resilience
Adriana Chavez is the co-founder of ORU, Office for Urban Resilience, a landscape design and applied research practice specializing in resilience and climate-sensitive infrastructures. She is an Adjunct Assistant Professor at the Master in Architecture and Urban Design at Columbia Graduate School of Architecture, Planning, and Preservation teaching water resilience. Adriana's work explores the urban-environmental dimension at different scales and contexts. Its specialization has contributed to strengthening a culture of multi-scale, multitemporal, and multi-stakeholder landscape design and planning. She holds a Master in Urbanism, Landscape and Ecology and a Master in Architecture II from the Harvard Graduate School of Design.
