We know that candidates receive many time consuming questionnaires, and we want to make it easier for you to express your views on this important topic. That’s why this year, we’ve decided to take a new approach. To begin Resilient PAC’s endorsement process, we are asking candidates to take a short video of themselves discussing climate resilience, their district's challenges, and equitable climate adaptation. Videos must be uploaded here by Thursday, March 9th

In an approximately 3-5 minute video (candidates may go over 5 minutes if you feel the need to), please help us get to know your thoughts on the following:

• Explain understanding of climate resilience and climate adaptation in New York City

• How is climate change already affecting your district?

• If elected, or reelected, what are specific steps you will take to address the issues in your district and citywide?

• For incumbents:

• What have you done to address climate resilience in your current term?

• What specific resilience-related projects, policies, and budgetary priorities have you initiated and/or supported and how does it center vulnerable populations, particularly communities of color or those of lower-income?

• For new candidates:

• How will you use your office to promote equitable adaptation?

• What do you think has not been accomplished by the Administration or City Council, but should?
